Maroney, 25, is being held on unlawful weapons charges and drug charges according to KMOV TV in St. Louis. Maroney and 3 other men were in a vehicle pulled over by officers late Monday night.

Maroney was traded to the Broncos late in the season by the New England Patriots who drafted Maroney in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft.
