Lewis told Schefter, "I plan to evaluate my future and have not made a final determination on whether I will be playing football next season."

In case you missed it, Lewis told reporters halfway through last season that he planned to retire. He subsequently went on IR due to concussion-related issues and later said he might reconsider his intention to retire because he didn't want an injury to end his career. Worth noting, Profootballtalk.com reports a December 2008 civil judgment against Lewis and two other defendants leaves them
owing at least $25 million. That might influence his decision.
