According to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora, the two sides have the framework of a three-year deal that would replace the three years left on Cribbs' current contract, but they are continuing negotiations on the amount of guaranteed money. Cribbs wants around $10 million guaranteed, but the Browns have offered just half of that at this time. But it's believed the gap can be bridged in time with La Canfora noting the tenor of negotiations between Cribbs and the Browns has greatly improved since Tom Heckert took over as GM last month. ...
