The Facts:
The NFLPA on Tuesday filed a grievance against the New York Giants on Burress’ behalf, challenging the team’s suspension and fine levied against the star wide receiver. The union contends that the team’s actions are in violation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you somehow missed it, Burress, the victim of his own foolishness, accidentally shot himself in the thigh a week ago with an unlicensed handgun. Burress was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list one day after he was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. They also suspended him for four games for conduct detrimental to the team for multiple and repeated violations of club rules. Given the circumstances, it's hard to imagine the grievance working out in his favor.
