Confirming reports that some in the locker room believe that Witten was one of the sources for ESPN's recent story regarding Terrell Owens’ supposed belief that Witten and Tony Romo have had secret meetings aimed at getting the ball more to Witten and less to Owens, Jay Glazer of FOXSports reports that some members of the team are calling Witten a “rat” and a “snitch” behind his back.

In case you haven't been following along, reports surfaced that Witten and Owens nearly got into an altercation after Witten attempted to talk to Owens about a certain route during Friday's practice. While no blows were thrown, Owens instructed Witten to never talk to him again. ... Meanwhile, Glazer went on to suggest that HC Wade Phillips made the situation worse by telling the players that the media is trying to make T.O. look bad, suggesting that Owens is a victim in all of this. While a win over the Giants would minimize the controversy, it's not going away any time soon.
