Coughlin: Brandon Jacobs Day To Day
(12/8 7:10 PT)

The Facts:
Jacobs is day-to-day after injuring his left knee in Sunday’s 20-14 loss to the Eagles. HC Tom Coughlin was vague in his description of Jacobs’ status for Sunday night’s game against the rival Dallas Cowboys in his weekly news conference. “Jacobs is sore. He is sore. This is an on-going kind of thing. And hopefully we can get that under control and he will be ready to go,” Coughlin said. “If he is ready to go, he’ll go.” Reported by The Sports Ticker

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jacobs is scheduled to undergo an MRI. It is not the same injury that forced him to miss the Week 12 win over Arizona. The Giants wrapped up the NFC East title when the Cowboys lost to Pittsburgh. Jacobs told Newsday that he thinks he will play. “I’ve been dealing with it for this long,” Jacobs said, “and I’ll continue to deal with it. ..." Let's hope so. Jacobs is fourth in the league with 12 touchdowns and his 1,002 yards are good for the eighth-best in the NFL.
