The Facts:
Jones will serve a three-game suspension for violation the NFL’s substance-abuse policy after his appeal was denied Wednesday. The league handed down the suspension in October, but it was delayed while Jones appealed. His appeal was heard last week.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The suspension means Jones won't play again this season. ... In case you missed it, Jones, the team’s leading receiver, was charged with cocaine possession in July when a police officer in Fayetteville, Ark., saw him inside a parked car allegedly cutting up cocaine with a credit card. In September, Jones agreed to enter a drug treatment program that could erase the felony charge against him. ... The question now is who replaces him? Jerry Porter injured his groin Sunday and his status is uncertain; Mike Walker is dealing with a series of personal tragedies (including his father's passing). Given the overall shaky state of Jacksonville's offense, those relying on Jones might want to look elsewhere for production.
