Report: Peyton Hillis Done For The Year
(12/8 11:37 PT)

The Facts:
ESPN insider Chris Mortensen is reporting Hillis will miss the rest of the season with a strained right hamstring. Hillis is expected to be placed on injured reserve Monday. Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The news doesn't come as a complete surprise as HC Mike Shanahan suggested it could be a six week injury after the game. The Broncos played with only two tailbacks against the Chiefs -- Hillis and Tatum Bell, but even with Hillis' injury, the team has options for the rest of the regular season. Selvin Young, the starter for the first five games of the season, practiced in full last week for the first time since suffering a groin injury on Oct. 5. Young, along with reserve back P.J. Pope, was listed as probable against the Chiefs, but those two were benched in favor of players coaches felt could contribute more on special teams. Shanahan said the team also plans to sign running back Cory Boyd from the practice squad. ... Stay tuned. We'll have more as developments warrant.
