The Facts:
Manning is expected to participate in a full-squad practice for the first time Tuesday, the next step in his recovery from knee surgery. Manning has been on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing July 14 surgery on his left knee to remove an infected bursa sac. HC Tony Dungy said today the plan is to remove Manning from the PUP list, which would make him eligible to practice."I think we'll ease him in and see how he practices and what he's able to do and we'll see from there," Dungy said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Even if Manning doesn't have a problem with practice, it's a virtual certainty he will not play in Thursday night's preseason finale against Cincinnati in Lucas Oil Stadium. The team hopes Manning will be ready for its Sept. 7 regular-season opener against the Chicago Bears.
