The Facts:
A question remains about the Cardinals' starting quarterback job, but it's slightly different than the one asked throughout training camp. It's not: Will HC Ken Whisenhunt make a change at quarterback? It's: When will Whisenhunt make a change at quarterback? There was a report Sunday on ESPN.com that said the Cardinals are expected to make the change. That could not be confirmed, but anyone who has followed the situation, or who can read a box score, expects it to happen.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Republic staffer Kent Somers, he decision to bench Matt Leinart for Kurt Warner likely was made for Whisenhunt on Saturday night in the Cardinals' preseason victory over the Raiders in Oakland. Leinart could not have played much worse. The players had Sunday off, and Whisenhunt was unavailable for comment. NFL sources told Somers neither player had been informed of a change as of Sunday afternoon. But Somers believes Whisenhunt's decision now is about timing. An announcement could come as soon as today; we'll pass it along in as timely a manner as possible if/when it does.
