With Ellis Hobbs, Welker and Bo Ruud taken off the PUP list, only five players (Mike Vrabel, Jarvis Green, Stephen Neal, Oliver Ross, and Mike Wright) remain.

Welker's return to work is a solid indication that his injury, undisclosed by the team, isn't serious. Of course, it would be nice to know more but the Patriots tend to be a bit tight-lipped on these occasions. The only thing we can tell you for sure is that Welker first came on the injury radar when he was held out of workouts in May and June. His status will be worth watching.
