Grant still hasn't signed his $370,000 exclusive rights free agent qualifying offer, but said he does not envision a scenario in which he would hold out of training camp. "No, I don't see it at that point, but right now that has nothing to do with where we're at," Grant said.

It should come as no surprise that Grant is looking for a longer, far more lucrative deal after he rushed for 956 yards and averaged 5.1 yards a carry despite being the team's primary halfback for only the final nine games of the season. And as we've previously noted, the Packers are obviously interested in maintaining as much offensive continuity as possible after Brett Favre's retirement. Look for team officials to do what they can -- within reason -- to keep Grant happy. Grant's approach to the situation will certainly help his cause.
