According to ESPN.com insider John Clayton, Alexander has told friends that the Colts and Patriots might be possible destinations in the wake of his release by the Seahawks.

Although it sounds like wishful thinking to believe he'll wind up on either team, there will be plenty of interest in Alexander -- if the price is right. In addition to Indianapolis and New England, the Lions, Bengals and Chargers could all use a veteran backup. We'll continue to watch for more interest in Alexander and report back as developments warrant.
