The Facts:
McNabb said yesterday that he has spoken with Eagles HC Andy Reid about the rumors the team will trade him before this month's draft and that Reid assured him that wasn't the case. "Andy has addressed that to me and let me know that he would never let me go anywhere," McNabb said during an interview with Mike Tirico on the new ESPN-AM (950) radio station.

McNabb is back in Philadelphia after spending much of the offseason at his home in Arizona. He said that he's been working on his conditioning and that his surgically reconstructed knee is feeling much better than it did during this last season, when the Eagles won their last three games to finish 8-8. McNabb also said he wanted to play in Philadelphia for "at least another six or seven years."
