Following up on the ongoing story. ... According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Judge Susan Nelson told NFL and NFLPA that she will impose forced mediation on them early this week.  Reported by FootballDiehards.com

The two sides spoke with Judge Nelson during a conference call held on Friday. All involved were told not to divulge their discussion with the media, but somebody apparently has. ... At this point, Schefter notes the NFL still wants the mediation to take place in Washington D.C. (under federal mediator George Cohen, who was the mediator in the previous round of negotiations last month); the player want to the discussions to take place under court supervision in Minnesota. We'll go ahead and suggest that court-ordered mediation -- regardless of where it takes place and who serves as mediator -- is a clear step in the right direction. ... Stay tuned.
