The Facts:
Agent Drew Rosenhaus visited with Burress in prison on Saturday and said the Burress is ready to return to the NFL. Rosenhaus wrote on Twitter that Burress "is doing great! He is running & lifting weights 5 days a week. He looks in terrific shape. He is in great spirits and is excited to be reunited with his family on June 6th. ..." Reported by the Redzone.org

Rosenhaus added: "We talked at length about his future in the NFL and he can't wait to get back on the football field in 2011! He is mentally & physically strong right now and is looking forward to the future!" ... Burress is due to be released from prison in June after serving a prison sentence for a handgun charge following an incident in which the veteran WR shot himself in the leg in a Manhattan night club. The Giants appear to be open to his return -- although Burress will be free to sign with any team he chooses.
