The Facts:
Last Sunday Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the Cardinals solicited ideas from star WR Larry Fitzgerald on how to improve their QB situation. Fitzgerald's first recommendation was Kolb. During an interview with WIP's Howard Eskin and Ike Reese via Sheil Kapadia of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Kolb said he was flattered that Fitzgerald would think so highly of him.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"I mean, if he's not the best, he's one of the best receivers in the NFL, superstar," Kolb said. "For a guy like that to say something about me, it means a lot. And it's awfully flattering, and I hope that if something happens, their name comes up. ..." Of course, Kolb's name hasn't been the only one mentioned as a potential Cardinal; Ravens backup Marc Bulger is also on the team's radar. And while Kolb surely has more upside than Bulger (or most any candidate currently on an NFL roster), the Eagles still appear to be intent on keeping him. ... Nonetheless, Kolb's name is going to be bandied about quite a bit in coming months. Stay tuned.
