The Facts:
The Vikings' offseason study of Peterson's issues with fumbles is a work in progress, but don't look for the team to demand any radical changes from its Pro Bowl running back. "I know there has been a lot said," HC Brad Childress said Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine. "I'm not going to discourage [Peterson] from running the ball with the style that he runs the ball with."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Peterson has rushed for 4,484 yards in three regular seasons, but has fumbled 20 times and lost 13. ... Childress made it clear that RBs coach Eric Bieniemy will be the point man in working with Peterson. "In my mind he's as good of running backs coach as there is in the National Football League," Childress said. "I feel like he's the best. Hands down, bar none. That would be the guy who will end up implementing it whatever it is we decide needs to be implemented. It may be nothing, it may just be a mental process. ..." Whatever the case, it's an issue that Bieniemy hasn't been able to fix yet and there's been some speculation the team might have Peterson talk to former Giants RB Tiki Barber, who overcame a similar problem during his career.
