The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... HC Brad Childress knows one way to get a definitive answer from Favre. Wait. ... Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Whether the three-time MVP needs a month or an entire offseason to determine whether to return for a 20th NFL season, Childress isn't pressing the issue. "Would it be nice to know sooner rather than later?" the coach said. "Yeah, but you have to be able to deal with ambiguity in this business whether you're a coach or a player. ..." And if Favre call it quits, Childress is content going with either of Favre's backups last season, Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels.
