The Facts:
Donovan McNabb's status for the upcoming game against the Saints is still undecided said HC Andy Reid. Reid said McNabb will continue to prepare with the intent of playing, but in practice the team will prepare for Kevin Kolb to be the starter. "(Donovan) is actually making some progress here," Reid said. "It's probably too early to say right now, so we'll see how it does here the next couple days."

Reid added: "But I want to make this very clear, Kevin Kolb right now is the starting QB. If Donovan cannot play this week, Kevin will be the starting quarterback. ..." That means Jeff Garcia would be No. 2 -- and given Reid's effort to play up Kolb's status, it sounds like he's not counting on McNabb being ready. You shouldn't either.
