McNabb isn’t ready to play after breaking a rib, league sources told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora, so Kevin Kolb will be the Philadelphia Eagles’ starting quarterback in Sunday's home opener against the New Orleans Saints. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Hardly a shocking development. McNabb made good progress this week, but not good enough to face the Saints. Instead, the start goes to Kolb, a 2007 second-round draft pick who has played in eight NFL games. Jeff Garcia, who signed with the Eagles on Tuesday, will be the only other quarterback. DeSean Jackson will likely be the emergency QB.
