Tomlinson is not expected to practice Wednesday after hurting his ankle, which isn't surprising. The San Diego Union-Tribune believes that Tomlinson's status against the Ravens will come down to a game-time decision.

Uh-oh. ... Shortly after hitting the dreaded 30-year mark at which NFL running backs supposedly crumble all at once, it suddenly looks like Tomlinson will be battling a nagging injury yet again. Even if it isn't catasrophic, it's bad news for those who drafted him in the first round of this year's draft. As PFT's Gregg Rosenthal suggests, HC Norv Turner spoke earlier in the offseason about getting Tomlinson 320 carries this season. Now it's starting to look like a decreased workload would be in the best interests of all involved.
