The Texans should get a boost this week with the return of Walter, the team’s second-leading receiver a year ago who hasn’t practiced since injuring his hamstring two weeks ago.

In telling reporters that WR Andre' Davis (concussion) was considered "day-to-day," HC Gary Kubiak added that Walter likely will return for the contest against the Titans and that "he should be ready to go. ..." That would be good news. QB Matt Schaub suggested with the Jets constantly doubling up on Andre Johnson, other players (meaning Walter) usually step up. That didn't happen against New York. ...
