According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Sal Paolantonio, under a scenario involving conditional reinstatement -- something Mortensen first suggested as a possibility this morning, Goodell would reserve the right to extend or further define Vick's indefinite suspension but allow him to attend training camp if he is signed with an NFL team. A conclusive reinstatement, or additional suspension, for the 2009 season would be expected before Sept. 1, the first mandatory date for roster cuts.
