The Facts:
The Rams have added some much-needed experience -- and size -- to their wide receiver corps. League sources told the Post-Dispatch on Wednesday that the team has acquired Curry from the Detroit Lions in a trade for defensive tackle Orien Harris.

Curry was released by the Raiders in February and he was signed as a street free agent by the Lions in April. Trading Curry lends further credence to recent reports suggesting that Dennis Northcutt was acquired by the Jaguars to work out of the slot after Curry had a less-than-impressive offseason. ... Perhaps Curry will have better luck in St. Louis, where second-year men Donnie Avery and Keenan Burton are the likely starters with former Falcon Laurent Robinson next on the pecking order.
