The Facts:
While Burress' case has been adjourned until Sept. 23, commissioner Roger Goodell can suspend the wide receiver for violating the league's conduct policy without having to wait for a legal decision on Burress. "I expect to meet with him at some point in the near future and will make a decision sometime thereafter," Goodell said on Tuesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Burress, the former Giant, would certainly draw interest from several teams if he plays this season. But Burress, who shot himself in the thigh last November at a Manhattan nightclub, faces up to 3-1/2years in prison if convicted on charges of criminal possession of a weapon. And Goodell will obviously have some say in the matter.
