Foschi played with Oakland from 2004 to 2006 after previously spending time with the New York Jets, Denver and Minnesota as an undrafted free agent. After spending 2007 out of the NFL, Foschi resurfaced with Kansas City last season and appeared in seven games. He had no receptions. The Raiders have three other tight ends (rookie Brandon Myers, Darrell Strong and nine-year veteran Tony Stewart) behind starter Zach Miller.
