The Facts:
Favre consulted renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews regarding options for healing the torn biceps tendon in his throwing shoulder this week, according to a source. Werder and Mortensen add that Favre, 39, has confided to friends he will not have major reconstructive shoulder surgery. ... Stay tuned.
