The Facts:
Offensive coordinator Tom Moore and offensive line coach Howard Mudd have formally filed their retirement papers with the Colts, according to the team’s owner. "We’ve made it through a number of transitions in the past and we’ll make it through this one," Irsay said. “I’m very pleased with the direction we’re headed."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The two men decided to retire because of a recent change in the NFL’s pension plan. According to recent reports out of Indy, a likely scenario is for Clyde Christensen (assistant head coach, receivers) to replace Moore and Pete Metzelaars (assistant offensive line coach) to step in for Mudd. ... While the two do allow for at least some continuity, losing two top assistants in Jim Caldwell's first season as Tony Dungy's replacement is hardly ideal.
