Compounding those disciplinary issues, was a growing problem of relationships between players and coaches. In addition to a reported rift between Terrell Owens and OC Jason Garrett, Watkins reports several offensive players lost respect Garrett because of his failure to corral QB Tony Romo in practice. ... Owner and GM Jerry Jones would not discuss certain aspects of the team, including the status of Owens, the coaching staff – specifically Garrett – until later today. ...
