A one-time HC with the Panthers and Texans, Capers worked this past season as special assistant with Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Capers also has been a DC in his career with the Steelers, Jaguars and Dolphins, making a name for himself with his 3-4 scheme and innovative blitz packages. Green Bay ran a 4-3 scheme under Bob Sanders, who was fired after this past season when the Packers ranked 23rd in total defense.
