While he's viewed as a valuable contributor, Buckhalter could get his opportunity. The veteran halfback is on a long list of potential free agents in Philadelphia. In addition to Buckhalter, tackles Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan will be free agents. S Brian Dawkins and tight end L.J. Smith also will be unrestricted free agents. Age is a factor with Dawkins (35), Runyan (35) and Thomas (34). Smith almost certainly won’t be back.
