The Facts:
Two days after being introduced as the new head coach of the St. Louis Rams, Steve Spanguolo on Wednesday hired Pat Shurmur as his offensive coordinator and Ken Flajole as the defensive coordinator.

Shurmur, 43, was the quarterbacks coach of the Philadelphia Eagles the past seven seasons. He was hired by Philadelphia in 1999 - the same year Spagnuolo joined the club. Flajole, 54, spent this past season as the linebackers coach of the Carolina Panthers, who also were ousted by the Cardinals in the divisional round. He was with the team since 2003. Both coaches will have their work cut out for them with St. Louis, which finished last in the NFC West with a 2-14 record.
