The NFL released the first official injury report for Super Bowl XLIII on Wednesday. With 10 full days before the Steelers take the field, there isn’t much to learn about the potential playing status of any players. Pittsburgh's reads as follows. ... Did not practice: LB Patrick Bailey (hamstring), C Justin Hartwig (knee), RB Mewelde Moore (ankle), RB Willie Parker (not injury related), QB Ben Roethlisberger (back), DE Aaron Smith (not injury related), T Max Starks (knee), LB Lawrence Timmons (illness), CB Deshea Townsend (not injury related), WR Hines Ward (knee).

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
HC Mike Tomlin held out several players who are dealing with injuries and will continue to limit them early in the week. He expected all to be able to play. Tomlin also said Ward, whom he categorized as having a sprained knee, would be expected to go. The Steelers returned to practice Wednesday after a day off Tuesday and are on a normal practice schedule this week (Please note: We'll be tracking the full report as usual next week).
