ESPN's Michelle Tafoya, confirming pretty much all the reporting on the matter the last four days, just advised viewers that even thought Tomlinson is expected to play against the Jets tonight, his role will likely be limited.

As we've been reporting since last Friday, Tomlinson's sore toe doesn't isn't an issue -- until LT tries to make a cut or lateral move. The problem, of course, is trying to guess at just how much Tomlinson will be limited. Will it be just 10 plays like last week? Will it be more plays with a lower level of production? Time to go with your gut. ... We will, of course, have Tomlinson's official game status (along with that for players of interest on both teams) in the hour leading up to tonight's kickoff.
