An MRI on Westbrook's ankle revealed no ligament damage. HC Andy Reid told reporters the star halfback is day to day and claimed Westbrook should be ready for Week 4. "I’m sure it'll be a race to get him ready for Sunday," Reid. "We'll see how he does. I think we can manage it."

According to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, Westbrook left the locker room on crutches and in a walking boot. He was not putting any weight on the foot that was injured when he stepped on a teammate. Nonetheless, Reid painted an optimistic picture during his Monday morning press conference. The coach said Westbrook will receive treatment and work through the "soreness" while the Eagles prepare to take on Chicago this weekend. ... That may be, but we'll be watching closely and bring you more on Westbrook as the week progresses.
