Kitna will be evaluated during the week after suffering a sprained knee at the end of Sunday's 31-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. "That's all I have right as of this moment," HC Rod Marinelli said of Kitna. "Knee sprain and they're going to evaluate as it goes."

Playing on his 36th birthday, Kitna completed 15-of-30 passes for 146 yards with one touchdown and one interception as the Lions fell to 0-3 in San Francisco. For the season, Kitna is 60-of-104 for 684 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions. The local media seems to be pushing for a change (perhaps to Drew Stanton), but at this point nothing is imminent. The Lions are off Week 4.
