Favre rolled his left ankle early in the third quarter of Monday night's loss to the Chargers. "It felt like I got shot in the leg or something," said Favre, who played all but the Jets’ final possession. "They took some X-rays and I think it's OK."

Despite limping noticeably after suffering the injury, Favre had three touchdown passes, including fourth-quarter TD throws of 4 yards to Chansi Stuckey and 13 yards to Dustin Keller (after he was hurt). The 38-year-old Favre was 30-of-42 for 271 yards. ... Meanwhile, we'll go ahead and assume Favre's ankle is "OK" while watching for more in coming days.
