According to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, McNabb has a deep bruise of the upper right pectoral muscle. X-rays were negative.

HC Andy Reid downplayed McNabb's injury during his Monday morning press conference and there's no reason to believe McNabb won't start and play as usual against the Bears in Week 4. That said, we'll obviously track his progress and coming days and report back further as needed.
