Seattle signed Gilmore, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers, to a contract on Friday.

Gilmore, who has also done stints in Arizona and Tampa Bay, will likely be relegated to providing depth at receiver and perhaps help out on special teams. With Deion Branch (ACL) expected to open training camp on PUP an additional body will help keep front liners Bobby Engram and Nate Burleson fresh.
