Record staffer Vinny DiTrani went on to speculate that Reese could not get back in return what he wanted for Shockey. There were recent rumors suggesting a very complicated multi-team deal was in the works, one which relied on a lot of things falling into place. One problem, however, may have been Shockey's ankle and his inability to pass a team physical. ... Whether he remains a Giant or moves on, it's safe to say we'll be hearing more about this situation when the Giants open training camp. Stay tuned.
