The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... The fight that led to Marshall's March 6 arrest here ended when Marshall's hand was cut by a piece of glass at his downtown condominium. According to an Atlanta Police Department incident report, Marshall was bleeding from his hand when officers arrived at his home on March 4. He told police that two sisters of his girlfriend had attacked him and that "he had been cut on glass during the fight," according to the report. He refused treatment at the scene.

Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth revealed on Wednesday that Marshall told the team about the cut, and the incident was not related to the second, much more serious arm injury Marshall said he suffered later that month. But as Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio suggested, even though the incidents aren't directly related, they are connected in a less direct manner. Teammate Jay Cutler might have put it best when asked about Marshall shortly after the second incident: "It's always something with him. ..." True that. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Post Wednesday there was no more information about the league's investigation into Marshall's arrest in March, his third in 12 months. But there is speculation that Marshall could be suspended for one-two games depending on the outcome of a September DUI trial.
