HC Rod Marinelli said McDonald should be in Detroit this week. The Lions begin their off-season practices Tuesday. "When he comes in, hopefully we'll have a chance to recheck him," Marinelli said. ... McDonald's surgery was "just a routine clean-up," his agent, Jim Steiner, recently advised the Sports Xchange. Steiner said McDonald is "progressing very well" and "will be 100 percent."
