The Facts:
Mendenhall was robbed at gunpoint along the Chicago lakefront early Monday morning, police and a relative said. Nobody was hurt in the incident, and no one is in custody for the armed robbery, a police spokeman said. "He didn't get hit or anything, he didn't get hurt or anything," his mother, Sybil Mendenhall said Monday. "He's fine."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Mendenhall had recently returned from his first mini-camp with the Steelers, who drafted him with the 23rd pick. As noted in
a previous item, he is currently bothered by a sore hamstring. Assuming the hamstring heals -- and he takes a more cautious approach to roaming the streets of South Chicago at 2 a.m. -- Mendenhall appears to be in line for the
No. 2 job behind Willie Parker.
