Two weeks ago, Tomlinson mentioned that he might be interested in changing his preseason routine a bit. "It may be good for me to maybe play one preseason game," Tomlinson said at the time. But after a brief conversation with HC Norv Turner regarding the subject, that trend won't happen. "I just told him we weren't going to do it," Turner said.

In other LT-related news. ... The star back, in an interview with ESPN, said he's might not play another five seasons in the NFL. "It comes a time where you gotta walk away from the game," he said. "I really would like to walk away from the game on top. I dont want to be a player that's declining and have to be kicked out of the league and not getting picked up by a team. ..." The comment came when it was noted that Tomlinson, who is 7,685 rushing yards away from Emmitt Smith's all-time record, might need five more seasons to get there.
