ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Broncos the Broncos are currently sniffing around some of the available veteran running backs. They are discussing the possibility of bringing in Shaun Alexander and Dominic Rhodes.

Alexander has visited Cincinnati and New Orleans with both teams interested in adding depth. Rhodes is reportedly getting calls, but hasn't scheduled any visits. ... Clayton went on to note the Broncos' interest is due to the fact that they passed on Jonathan Stewart in the first round of last month's draft. ... Clayton believes Travis Henry heads into camp as Denver's starter, but there is plenty of competition for carries with Selvin Young and Andre Hall also in the mix.
