The Facts:
Tebow is making appearances in Tampa this weekend to raise money for wounded war veterans, and he had said he would speak to reporters. But Nicole Darin, sports anchor at WTSP-TV, reports that Tebow is rattled by
Peyton Manning's visit with the Broncos and refused to speak with the media as originally promised.

As PFT's Michael David Smith notes, Tebow is in limbo at the moment, waiting to see whether Manning winds up in Denver, and knowing nothing about his future other than that John Elway and John Fox weren't telling the whole truth when they said Tebow
would definitely enter training camp as the Broncos' starting QB. Given that, it's unsurprising that the usually congenial Tebow isn't in the mood to talk to reporters right now. ... Meanwhile, Denver Post staffer Mark Kiszla wrote this morning: "Should the Broncos reach a deal with the most ballyhooed free agent in league history, then Tebow becomes trade bait before the ink on the contract is dry. ..." Despite Tebow's magical 2011 season, in which he took over a 1-4 team and won seven of his first eight starts to lead the Broncos to their first playoff appearance and victory since the 2005 season, owner Pat Bowlen wasn't satisfied. After the Broncos lost their second-round playoff game at New England, an irked Bowlen said as he walked out of Gillette Stadium: "Not a bad season, but not a great season, either. I want a great season. ..." Stay tuned.
