Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is expected to join GM Jeff Ireland and HC Joe Philbin in a meeting with Manning in the next few days. The Dolphins have prepared what they believe is a strong presentation.

Manning also is likely still analyzing Kansas City, according to ESPN. According to Profootballtalk.com, Manning, who visited Denver on Friday and was expected to visit Arizona tonight, will return to Miami after visiting the Cardinals (PFT added that Manning didn't plan the tour out in advance; instead the QB is playing it by ear). ... Though he has had four neck operations in the past 19 months, Manning has yet to throw in front of any interested suitors. According to Herald staffer Barry Jackson, the Dolphins would like to see him throw. But it's unclear how much they would press the issue if Manning declines. ... Stay tuned.
