The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ...First, the assistant coaches trickled into the Cardinals Tempe facility. Then receiver Larry Fitzgerald arrived. Finally, coach Ken Whisenhunt pulled in with a very important passenger: Manning. ... The QB arrived in the Valley last night and likely will spend a chunk of time here at the facility.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Republic staffer Kent Somers, it's not clear how long Manning will be there. Cardinals officials have kept a tight lid on this. ... Worth noting: Somers hasn't seen Manning's agent, Tom Condon and it doesn't seem as if he's on this trip with Manning. That makes it unlikely negotiations will take place. And as Profootballtalk.com's Michael David Smith suggests, that seems to indicate today’s meeting will be about convincing Manning that
the Cardinals are the right fit on the field -- and that contractual concerns are secondary. And, as Smith added: "Without a doubt, if Manning is to be convinced that the Cardinals are the right fit on the field, Fitzgerald will be a big part of that. ..." Stay tuned.
