ongoing story. ... Fitzgerald said today that he's curious about the potential Peyton Manning landing in Arizona, but he has no inside information.

In an interview on ESPN, Fitzgerald was careful not to ruffle any feathers, saying it's up to the management and that he likes QBs Kevin Kolb and John Skelton, but he did say he thinks Manning could be "a good fit." There have been reports going back weeks that Fitzgerald could be involved in luring Manning to Arizona, but in an interview with the Cardinals' web site, Fitzgerald said no one has told him anything. "If they are doing it, I haven't heard anything about it," Fitzgerald said. "I am as eager [as] everyone to see him. ..." It's safe to say he's not the only Cardinals who
shares in that sentiment. As
previously noted, Manning is heading to Arizona tonight for a meeting with HC Ken Whisenhunt (although he's yet to be spotted in Arizona as this update is posted).
